Christmas Tradition: " The Box"

Christmas Tradition: "The Box"

While I was out & about today I couldn't help but notice Christmas is in full swing in most
stores. I'm not sure why I was surprised, I mean it is almost Halloween!

Being very 'tis the season, I bought a pair of snow boots . . . even though it was sunny, gorgeous & 75+ outside! Next up, my MIL & I scoped out the Christmas PJ section ay Target and I went home with
some silver Christmas wrapping ribbon from Sam's (great deal, btw, if you need some ribbon)

From Halloween onward it is such a joyful time! Seeing family and friends, dressing up or hanging out
in your PJ's around the tree. I couldn't help but wonder how I would be decorating our new home for the holiday's and about how much I love this time of year.

Our family has a fun tradition that I thought I would share with you:

Upon arrival you place your "funny" gift in the front porch"box" and at the end of the night, "the box" comes in from the cold & we each make our selection.

Last year Mr. Z & I brought the "fanny bank" that made "fanny" sounds when change would be dropped into the bank (it was a BIG hit!) along with "sponge bracelets" so water doesn't run down your arms while doing dishes. LOL!

This Christmas we will be welcoming my Brother & SIL's baby girl in December - just in time for her first Christmas "box" tradition! Yay!!
