Punta Mita: What to Do

Punta Mita: What to Do

Looking for . . . Restaurants: Click here for my suggestions

Looking for . . . Adventure:
Action-packed activities include whale watching, sailing, surfing, yachting, kayaking, sport deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, zip-lining, canopying, bike tours, swimming with the dolphins, salsa lessons & horseback riding on the beach!

Looking for . . .Tennis: Punta Mita Tennis Center

Looking for . . . Golf:
Play two Jack Nicklaus golf courses “Pacifico” & “Bahio”
If you must choose, ideally play Pacifico, which has the only natural island green in the world! Known by golfers as “The Tale of the Whale” (aka Pacifico hole 3B)  - - - only accessible at low tide and has been quoted by Nicklaus himself as stating its “the best par 3 I’ve ever designed.”

Here is the path to “the Tale of the Whale” (look for the golf cart going across)

“The Tale of the Whale” island green:

Looking for . . . Leisure:
Personally, I think it would be fun to take a guacamole & Mexican cocktail class at the St Regis (I didn’t know about this until we were leaving = bummer!)

Looking for . . . Beach & Pools (Beach Clubs are accessible via golf cart if staying in a private residence)

Residents Beach Club – beach chair chaises & towel service, wait staff for on the beach drinks & dining, child & adult pools, massage therapy, use of snorkels, kayaks & boogie boards.

Residents Beach Club Massage "rooms":

St Regis Punta Mita Resort Beach Club & Beach Club Pool (also, St Regis Family Pool & St Regis Adult Pool)

Looking for . . . Shopping: The Boutiques of Punta Mita within the Four Seasons resort offering high-end swimwear, shoes, cover-ups and necklaces can be found within - Aina, Nawi, Nakawe & Neyao boutiques.

Outside the private Punta Mita residential gates stop in at Pasha Bazar & Nina Catrina Boutique. If you have the time, spend the afternoon in hippie-chic bohemian Sayulita, Mexico (20 minutes away) checking out Petit Hotel Hafa, Hafa Boutique, Pacha Mama & Yemaya Boutique.

We went the “leisure” route during most of our time in Punta Mita - I spent the majority of mine in the Casa Kalika pool with my nieces, relaxing under our outdoor Palapa living room and exploring the beach.

We could have opened a small Apple store . . . here are Mr. Z & Mr. G relaxing with some of our "i" loot. . .
